Harry Chryssaphes (Director)<\/span><\/strong> is the founder of Chryssaphes Associates,<\/span> which he established as a wholly owned business in 2002. Harry previously co-founded in partnership two other successful financial recruitment firms, the first of which was sold to a publicly quoted company in 1989.<\/p>\n

Harry has specialised in executive search for Finance Executives throughout his recruitment career. He is probably one of the most experienced Senior Finance Executive Search specialists in the UK. He has recruited across the spectrum of industry sectors and across a wide breadth of organizational size and type: from FTSE50\/100, FTSE250\/350, FTSE Small Cap and AIM-Listed companies, PE-backed organizations and into independent SMEs.<\/p>\n

Harry was educated at Haberdashers\u2019 Aske\u2019s School, Elstree. He holds a First Class Honours Degree in Economics\u00a0from the University of Essex and an MBA<\/strong> from Manchester Business School<\/strong>. He also qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA)<\/strong> with Arthur Andersen<\/strong><\/span> (now Deloitte); working in both the Manchester and London offices. He later worked as a Business Planning Executive at the International Operations Division of EMI Music<\/strong><\/span>; and as a Strategy Consultant for the US firm strategy consulting firm, Arthur D. Little Inc<\/strong><\/span>, where he was engaged on company re-organisations and other strategic projects.<\/p>\n

Harry\u00a0entered the financial recruitment field in the 1980s, combining his previous knowledge and experience of Finance and Strategy Consulting, to bring a more \u201cconsultative\u201d approach to financial recruitment as it then existed in the market. His first successful financial recruitment business, co-founded and built up together with his then business partner, was sold to a FTSE quoted company in 1989. Later moving on together, they established a second business in Partnership in the 1990s.<\/p>\n

In parallel to servicing the financial recruitment needs of his own clients through Chryssaphes Associates (his wholly owned operation), Harry also acts as Partner \u2013 Head of CFO \/ Finance Practice<\/strong> at Bailey Montagu Executive<\/strong> Search<\/strong>,<\/span><\/span> a more \u201c<\/strong>generalist\u201d boutique executive search firm.
