	Chryssaphes Associates was founded by Harry Chryssaphes, an independent executive search consultant, and one of the most highly experienced specialist recruiters of Financial Management operating in the UK. Harry possesses over 20 years of hands-on executive search experience entirely dedicated to the identification and recruitment of outstanding finance professionals for blue-chip clients. Supported by in-house research, his personal contact network and knowledge of the population within his areas of specialism is unmatched. By previous background, Harry Chryssaphes is an ACA and a MBA, and was one of the first to combine the two qualifications. After qualifying with Arthur Andersen, he worked as a Business Planning Executive with EMI Music; and then as a Strategy Consultant with Arthur D.Little. He first entered the accountancy/finance recruitment field in 1980 as a Consultancy Manager with a major recruitment advertising group, moving on to found his first independent operation in 1981 together with other principals. In 1984, together with his former business partner, Peter Flammiger, he co-founded Financial Management Selection Limited (FMS), a successful financial recruitment business which was later sold to a publicly quoted group in 1989. In 1991, both he and Peter Flammiger chose to become independent operators once again, forming the specialist financial executive search firm of Chryssaphes Flammiger under which banner Harry previously operated until March 2002, when he established this present independent operation.
